What's there to debate or watch on Cspan? It's been on for months while this was being voted on. This is going to pass and the rich Republican's and insurance companies can whine all they want.
I have no problem with him wanting this to get through quickly. Enough debate and filibustering, time to get it done. Neocons had 6 years to do something about the health care system and they did nothing. It's time it gets passed, because given enough time, the Neocons in Congress will try to stall it's final passing.
We had to watch for 6 years as the Conservative Congress bankrupted this country. Now it's your turn to watch as the Dems pass legislation so everyone in this country has a chance at health care. My reaction, he said he was going to get a health care bill passed and that's what he's doing. You don't like it, go pound sand. Better yet, go to any other country in the world, because they all have a universal health care system.
Every industrialized country in the world has socialized health care. The top rated health care systems in the world by an objective organization which ranks all countries, has Italy ranked first and France ranked second. The US is ranked 34th. Pretty sad. This may not be the perfect solution, but until something better comes along, it's better than what we currently have, which is a heavy burden on the middle class tax payer.

Amazing, and the President not only promised transparency (lie), he also offered to go over the bill "line by line" with any legislator (lie). You aren't in any way concerned?
Quit trying to put words in my mouth like you usually do. And no I'm not concerned and yes they need to end the debates and stalling tactics. This has been debated for months now. The same exact things and language are being debated back and forth with no resolution. It's time for it to get passed and move on with other matters. Once it's passed, the fine details get ironed out.
And transparent (Lie)? It's been on Cspan since its inception. The only talk is whether or not this last portion should be. It's as transparent as it needs to be. It's just another stall tactic.

Yes, I know Kaz, it is all George Bush's fault.

Damn, even worse than I thought Kaz. This plan isn't even going to be implemented until 2014 (well the Medicare cuts and costs will start right away), why in the hell are we rushing? If you truly trust the government....EITHER PARTY....to iron out the details AFTER passing the plan then you are the most insanely naive person I've ever heard of.

I love seeing you doom and gloom guys crying like little babies because things aren't going your way any longer.
Half are against it and half are for it. So what's your point? It's about the way anything gets passed through Congress. Not everyone is going to agree with it. Conservatives will fight changing health care til the bitter end. But unfortunately for you neocons, it's going to pass.
Like I said, it's going to get rammed down your throat, so go pound sand. I'm loving every minute of it.
There's nothing for me to debate. I know what they are trying to do, they've been debating this for months. Where have you been? Now that it's getting close to full passage, you're up in arms? typical....

Seriously, are you that clueless to state that the same debates that have been going on for months are the same debates going on now?
"The same exact things are being debated back and forth with no resolution?"
You do know these are 2 different bills that have to be reconciled into 1 to then be voted upon and sent to the President right? So how can there be no resolution? There has to be a resolution between the 2 to move on. How do you not understand that?
And what words have been put into your mouth?
Simple question: Did the President promise that the reconciliation would be broadcast on CSPAN? Did he offer any legislator the opportunity to talk with him and go through the bill "line by line"? And don't bring up an past example of the past administration as this is the "CHANGE" admin right?
And the dumbest of all: AFTER it is passed, the fine details get ironed out. Really? How is that? Another law written to "iron out" the details? Isn't that what the reconciliation is to be used for?

And I really don't give a rat's ass whether he promised to have this final portion aired on Cspan or not. I really don't. It's been on Cspan since its inception. The final votes and tallies can be left off the air, like no one can have access to it anyhow? Gimme a fucking break. Again, your ignorance that it's some sort of secret is galling.
And yes moron, I do realize there are two bills with the same language and same debates that have been going on since their inception. Abortion, funding, medicaid, are all the same infighting points that have been there all along.

Is that what the President ran on? Have they been reconciling 2 different bills for months? NO. Remember, the Democrats have the majority, so they need NO Rebup support. The in fighting has been in both the House and Senate. You don't think other Senators are now going to want the same deal Nelson got to buy h is vote? But that shouldn't be transparent according to your kind?
Is it good for the country. Absolutely. It's a start on the right path for health care for all the people here, not just the ones who can afford it. It may not be the perfect model, but for right now, it's better than the current situation, which is a burden on the middle class tax payers. PERIOD!

guys why bother arguing?? lets just face it. if you are a liberal you like high taxes and government run everything. That is all there really is to it. Just look at NY and cali as examples. Both states are very liberal and both states have the highest taxes in the nation and both states have massive debts. More people flee NYS then any other state in the union. Why? cause ppl here are sick and tired of paying their hard earned tax dollars for failing programs that are mismanaged by the state government.2013 NCAA POD Record
8-3ATS +3.80 units
2013 NFL POD Record
