Just shocking that this stuff isn't the lead story on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, etc. The guy....on tape.......comes out at least eight times promising televeised healthcare debates......transparency is the little catch word he likes to use.......and not only do we not get them televised, we don't even get to read the bills. He talks about both sides having a seat at the table, yet replublicans aren't even allowed into the discussions.

You libs are helping destroy our country, but don't even care as long as your guy "wins." More than half the country is completely against this bill, yet the libs are doing everything they can do to ram it down our throats. What I don't understand is how stupid the libs are....so short sighted. At the midterm elections Dems are going to get crushed. The country hates government spending our money on corrupt programs that will destroy our country. You already had several libs in the last couple days announcing their "retirement" b/c they know they can't win. So many others are so behind in polls it is comical.

The only positive in this atrocious bill is that it will serve to get all these wacko socialists out of office. THe negative is thta it is going to years to undo all the crap they screwed up.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is prodding House and Senate Democrats to get him a final health care bill as soon as possible, encouraging them to bypass the usual negotiations between the two chambers in the interest of speed.

Obama delivered the message at an Oval Office meeting Tuesday evening with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his No. 2, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., joined in by phone.

They agreed that rather than setting up a formal conference committee to resolve differences between health bills passed last year by the House and Senate, the House will work off the Senate's version, amend it and send it back to the Senate for final passage, according to a House leadership aide, speaking on condition of anonymity in order to discuss the private meeting.
