Let's try this. Can we at least agree that carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere are increasing since the Industrial Revolution? If so, then what's a logical reason for why this wouldn't create warming?

they are only credible when HE is using them. he has no credibility . i just laugh or don't even read most of his posts.“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have."

Most climate scientists agree that a 20 to 30-year timescale is more likely for the near-disappearance of sea ice". Maybe more, maybe less. But I guess we're to assume that we humans had nothing to do with that.
Why was Greenland once green farm land, Iceland too? This was just centuries ago before the industrial age.
The largest factor on our weather is the sun, not human emissions. Get real Man, this is out of our control.
Lets put this in gambling terms. Lets say it is a even over/ under bet. My bet would be on the ice still there after the 20-30 years these biased scientists say. I take the over.
These climate Scientists feed on grant money, course they will say the sky is falling and we need more research money. Its called fear mongering and Al Gore is the King.NBA is a joke

The earth has always gone through cycles, why is it so different now ?

bingo!
but since you can't change the suns cycles and make money on it, most people won't talk about this.“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have."

A good place to start if you want the real data are the websites of the IPCC, UKCIP, and CSIRO. Don't listen to Al Gore, don't listen to Glenn Beck, don't listen to random youtube videos. Read the published research and then decide for yourself.

Good point but at what cost??? I tend to believe that we have such little control and impact on the earth's temperature any action or inaction would be negligible.
The real problem I have iis Al Gore is not a scientist and is predicting the future like he knows for sure. No one knows for sure and when people say:
Global Warming is a fact.
People are causing it.
The ice caps will melt totally.
And this one kills me:
The debate is over. (Why, what are they hiding from us?) How close minded is that?
30 years ago they were predicting an Ice Age. How did that work out?NBA is a joke

At what cost is a good point. My argument would be that it's just like any other issue (terrorism, inflation, etc.), you take measured precautions in order to better avoid catastrophe.
Al Gore is a goofball. He has access to all the same information that we all have and he's no more of an expert on the issue. In my opinion, he's hurt the movement more than he's helped.
Here's what we know:
Carbon dioxide is the second-most important contributor to the greenhouse effect.
Carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere have been upward trending since the Industrial Revolution.
Global temperatures are on a coincidental upward trend.
I think this points to global warming, but I can understand that many people disagree.
I also agree that no one should be ignoring arguments against their stance and declaring the end of debate especially if they're confident in what they believe.
