Political talk show moving to 9 p.m. in February

HBO has renewed "Real Time With Bill Maher" for an eighth season.
The political talk show will return Friday, Feb. 19 when it will move from its previous 10 p.m. slot to 9 p.m., with a rebroadcast slated for 11 p.m.
"Bill Maher is a vital and provocative observer who cuts through the media clutter to offer a uniquely thoughtful outlook on the world," HBO Entertainment's senior vp Nancy Geller said.
"Real Time," whose seventh season aired on Oct. 16, is produced by HBO in association with Brad Grey Television.
Bill Maher, Scott Carter, Sheila Griffiths, Brad Grey, Marc Gurvitz and Billy Martin executive produce.
