Nobody said she taught her daughter to get knocked up. The fact that she's an advocate for family values and yet is rarely at home with her 5 kids, two of which have a mental illness and the other that became pregnant at the ripe old age of 16, doesn't say too much for her hypocritical beliefs of the Conservative ideologies or the morally responsible religious fundamentalism ideologies she professes to believe in.

On Obama's kids.... Yes, if his daughters made racist remarks or racist threats to white kids in school, then you damn right it will be reported on. No question about it.

Roger Clinton was often brought up during Clinton's run for presidency. I can't remember others, but I would venture to guess there has been.

In all cases (except the Bush daughters, and they were in college), the targets have been adults. I can't think of one instance where the targets were under the age of 18. Show me one, and I will "man up" and apologize.

To me, this is the real issue. The Palin daughters should be left alone whether you like her or not. There is nothing political about attacking kids.

bush's daughters were hardly mentioned at all in the campaigns. gore's son i don't remember a thing about (it must not have been tyhat big of a deal). i don't remember anything about ford's son (i was 15 at the time though). weren't clinton and carter's (you forgot him) brothers involved in questionable business dealings that did have ties to the presidents.

NONE of the things above was anything like the almost daily, purely personal, attacks for a year and a half against palin's family.

90% are of hate and anger? That's pretty funny. You obviously don't read all the posts or you read them with selective vision just like the other night with Monte. I've made over 150 posts since the rants section was started and I would say maybe 6 posts were somewhat angry or hateful. Is that really 90%?....Last time I checked this was called the RANTS, politics and religion forum.

The job of a 'moderator' is to mediate or preside over arbitrarily. Yet you have called out me, MM and GMA on more than one occasion for admonishment because we're NOT on your side of the political table. On more than one occasion Flare, Jordan and others have made hateful or angry remarks and received nothing.

I don't have a problem with it, but at least I know where you stand now and it's mainly on the 'Right' side.

Chelsea Clinton was cracked on for her looks and the media labeled her as the "loner." When Bill was first in office, she was under the age of 18. Again, I don't agree with kids being put under the microscope, but it happens. People are by nature, mean and nasty. I wish it would stop too.

Good call. I feel that i've been attacked the whole time i've been in here, and as soon as I fight back someone says I'm full of hate and anger. Some people need to take a long look in the mirror.
