  • Bush's 1-3 trillion dollar war.

Its funny how all of the right wingers are up in arms over health care reform and copy and pasting the wrantings of mad men. I mean its borderline lunacy, making comments on how their not going to be slaves to barack obama and the democratic party. YOU'RE RIGHT YOUR NOT GOING TO BE SLAVES TO OBAMA BECAUSE BUSH HAS GOT YOU.

The Iraq War Will Cost Us $3 Trillion, and Much More - washingtonpost.com

None of the right ringers bitched or moaned about the historic waste of money spent on chasing hussein or the escaped bin laden. When you really start to think of the ineptness of the past administration in actually preventing 9-11 or catching bin laden it makes you want to laugh first, then cry. You mean we spent 1 trillion to remove hussein? We never caught bin laden, still are in the works of pulling out of iraq and might be stuck in afghanistan. Where were the stupid articles WHEN BUSH WAS SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS IN(STILL IS) IRAQ? WHERE WERE THE TEA-BAGGERS THEN WITH BUSH POSTERS WITH THE HITLER MUSTACHES?

None you spoke a word about the great expenditures, the costs, the waste, you were quiet because some moron told you that he was fighting for your freedom and you believed him. And you know what, that moron has got a big smile on his face right now because he knew the limbaugh followers would belive him.

he spent most of that trying to clean up the previous einstein's mess. That moron was too busy trying to give tax breaks to richest 15 percent of the population. But hey, maybe thats you......................we're in recession and he was giving his millionaire golf buddies tax shelters and breaks, but like I said maybe you got a huge tax break too, millionaire.

you do realize that the top 5% of the money makers in this country pay 95% of the taxes. And the top 50% salary earners (30k) and up pay 99.9% of taxes. You dont have to be rich to pay big in taxes. What you fail to realize is the richest people I'm talking 1/10th of 1% of the wealthy actually can get around paying massive taxes. The rest who are simply upper class or upper middle class, or even middle class or lower middle class get fucked!!!!

Al gore is the biggest asshole loser on the planet. He is a massive hypocrite. He lectures us on how to conserve and he flies around in a private jet. He wastes more fuel on 1 trip across the country then the average american family will use in an entire lifetime.

i am far from a millionaire. I make a decent living. Let me ask you this MM. I have no idea what your income level is nor does it matter. My question is this. If you got a paycheck for which you earned $2000.00 and what you actually got in "said" check was $1200.00(gross) BEFORE 401k,healthcare etc. how would you feel about that?

better yet can you tell me what and how the $800 that was taken from did and what benefits you (MM) rec'd from said $800 being taken from you? Cause you do realize taxes were designed to help everyone. Rich, poor, middle all of us.

Hate to break this to you, but rich people aren't evil, stop being jealous. Right or wrong, rich people make the world go around. Poor people do little to stimulate the economy. You can't give tax breaks to poor people b/c they don't pay taxes anyway. Give rich people tax breaks they buy houses, buy cars, buy boats, go vacations, start businesses. You know what happens when people buy houses? It creates jobs b/c people have to build houses. You know what happens when people buy boats? It creates jobs b/c people have build boats. You know what happens when you give tax breaks to people that don't pay taxes? Nothing.

The top 50% of wage earners pay 96% of the total federal income tax. The top 10% pay 65%. The top 5% pay over 50%. The bottom 50% is paying a tiny bit of the taxes, so you can't give them much of a tax cut by definition. Simple economics

Im considered middle class and you know what I would love to be considered upper middle class.

Warren Buffet said it best.......when my secretary is paying a higher percentage tax than I am .........something is wrong!

Buffet pays 17- 18 percent on his taxes

But his employees pay 33 percent!

another thing mm, you are rewriting history as liberals do. Bush didn't decide to go to war by himself. The Senate voted 77-23 to authorize President Bush to attack Iraq.

The House approved the resolution 296-133.

yes because its simple. he most likely claims his income in a state like FLA that has no state income tax and he also has high powered lawyers and accountants who find ways to get around paying the high taxes his secretary does. Also he probably donates large sums of money to charities which can be written off. I doubt his secretary can do any of this.
