How about those kids in Columbine who shot to death all of those school kids? I didnt hear their religion brought into question.

Nidal Hasan was a sick and disturbed individual who did something terrible....just leave it at that.

There are disturbed individuals in our society from all races, creeds, religions and backgrounds.....no need to say he was Muslim IMO.

No I don't. I think its a crutch. Only if a Muslim person commits a crime is his religion gets brought into question and I cited that above. IMO it would behoove anyone to study the Muslim religion before passing judgement. As a matter of fact I think people should get educated about anything before they make an uninformed decision. Just a thought.

I trust that if it was a guy who said "Jesus is my Lord and Savior", (which would lead most people to believe that he was christian & the media would report his religion anyway) while he was firing away at defenseless soldiers, MCP, you'd still feel the same way? That there was no need to say he was christian? Even when most people would think it anyway or be led to believe it? It is what it is. I think that Hasan was personally conflicted because of his religion to the point he broke or maybe he was just a coward. Who knows what was going inside his head for sure.

Sure I can. Gather all the facts...find out if he had any accomplicesm, give the man his trial and if found guilty punish his ass to the fullest extent of the law.

Religious extremists represent the extreme minority but unfortunately they leave the most lasting impressions which is sad. I truly believe most people who kill in the name of God are doing it for financial reasons to tell you the truth because religiously speaking murder is a sin punishable by hell.

i don't think anyone has said all muslims are terrorists, or even many. if someone starts shooting people and yelling any religious things, it is going to be seen as a cause of the crime. that's just common sense, no?

I dont think anyone said all Muslims are terrorist, I think that once it was determined that the shooter was Muslim that many here said something to the tune of fucking terrorist. That might make some feel that whoever said that is blanketing all Muslims into that category. I have to admit that I sometimes am guilty of doing that.

It is unfortunate IMO for the Muslims that they have the extremist that get their faith thrown together. I know damn little about the Muslim faith, I know that the extreme ones want to kill all of us Americans.

I propose he serves his entire jail time at the cook county jail.
He gets no protective custody and he has to spend his entire time in the cook county jail day rooms.

I have friends who are prison guards there and believe me he would beg for the death penalty. This is the exact reason when you get pieces of crap like this you have to send them to the worst prison or county jails across america.

According to my boy, to have to spend the rest of your life in cook county is worst than any death penalty you could ever get. When you kill this type of sick pup your giving them exactly what they want and your ending the torture.

Now we have a little insight into why Obama said to not jump to conclusions about Nidal Hasan and why Congressmen were not briefed before the press leak. This murdering Muslim Terrorist who killed and wounded the soldiers and civilians at Ft Hood, Texas was an advisor to Obama's Homeland Security team. Look on page 29 of the Homeland Security Institute link below. I wonder how many more skeletons there are to come out of the cupboard. Who else is there in the government or its numerous advisors or Czars that will harm our country and citizens?
