Peter gammons and John Kruk expect a dominating performance tonight which will lull the yankee hitters to sleep.

Yankees killed LH SPs this season. Who's the Phils best pitchers?

        Looks good for NY.

          Phillies +13 Wins vs lefties
          Yankees +18 Wins vs lefties

          Phillies +11 wins vs righties
          Yankees +26 Wins vs righties

Phillies played 3 games in NY this year and they won 2 out of 3. Happ, Hamels and Myers started those 3 games vs Burnett, Pettitte & Sabathia

Doesn't look like any huge NY advantage to me!

Yankees +18 wins against lefties, only 8 less than vs. righties, despite playing half as many games vs. LHP.

Looks like something to me, but I won't argue with you...

Yankees were +18 vs lefties in 54 games

Phils were +13 vs lefties in only 45 games

If the Phils played 9 more vs lefties and won 7, it is what it is, a WASH!

You're missing my point, but like I said, I won't argue with you.

There is no point. NY was +18 in 54 games and Philly was +13 in 45 games. They both were great against lefties and if Philly played 9 more against lefties, you could say the same about them.

NY was +26 vs righties and Philly was only +11. If you want to talk advantages, there it is. Neither is throwing a righty tonight.

Philly CRUSHED Lefties this year too if you compare it to their win % vs righties. Last i looked, the Yankees are throwing a lefty tonight, right?

If you like the Yankees just say you like the Yankees but if your gonna compare win %'s for each team lefty vs righty, Philly was just as good so they should be included. That's all i'm saying.

Philly struggled vs righties going only +11 in a whopping 117 games. They were +13 in just 45 vs lefties. Clearly better against lefties.

The Yanks may have had a better winning % vs lefties but they were still +26 vs righties in only 108 games. They won 15 more in 9 less games vs righties. Now that's an advantage!!!!!

Nope, there never is a point.

Yankees big 4 (Cano, A-Rod, Jeter, Tex):

                          vs. LHP: .321 BA
                          vs. RHP: .303 BA

Phils big 5 (Howard, Rollins, Utley, Werth, Ibanez)

                          vs. LHP: .262 BA
                          vs. RHP: .275 BA

Yankees, hit lefties better than rights.
Phils hit rights better than lefts.

I don't care about averages, i care about WINS. What did Tex bat in the ALCS??? Did they win??? That's all that matters in the end!

Doesn't matter anyway mavs, "Your" Yankees are a 2-1 favorite anyway so i'm sure they'll win!
