All stats considered equal. I'd rather have a starter averaging 8 innings than 6. Especially knowing how bad relief pitching has become.

I dont know about you but i'll take the big lefty who expects to finish his starts with a W while giving the bullpen a night of rest, over the injury prone righty on a 100 pitch count averaging close to 6 innings a game.

oh and lets not forget, CC CAN HIT!! you won't see many teams intentionally walk the 8 hitter to get to CC ......seeing him in pinstripes next year is going to suck
