I have noticed many times on this site, racial overtones by certain individuals, who may not even realize what they are saying. It's something inbred and we are probably all guilty of it. Even people of color. I know I have been prejudice and even stereotyping individuals. I think we all do it.
There comes to a point however, with how you intend it and what underlying factors cause you to feel or react on it. There was no doubt that Jordan was a racist and was fairly blatant about it. He needed to go.
Arguing and pissing matches can be tolerated. When it becomes racial comments, the line is drawn. Same goes for name calling. And I'll be the first that I have done that as well.
I enjoy good debate, but on the internet, too many times it gets out of hand. If we lose the rant forum, it will take away free thinking and open minded opinions. I'm indifferent to how I feel about it. I guess I enjoy debating too much to see it go. But since individuals cannot contain their anger, then I guess it's best to dismantle it.....Sadly.
