That's pretty easy to answer. Who was going to vote against it? If you did vote against it you were more than likely to be out of a job next election. Regaurdless of which party is in office, it's a tough decision not to go along with the war when we were attacked. I'm sure not many voted against the U.S going to war with Japan in WW II. The big mistake was giving Bush a blank check to do what ever he wanted to do. That is where the Dems and Repubs should have drawn the line, because the next thing we knew we went from Afghanistan to Iraq in a blink of an eye.

People of the Democratic party like Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and John Kerry and so on, get the blank check blame. They should have been smarter than to just go along with that. Then to turn around and say George Bush fooled and miss lead them is Bullshit. It's more like you wanted to cover your ass.

As far as defunding the war, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid need to go. I'm sure the orders coming down from them are to vote against defunding the war.

Dennis Kucinich will again bring impeachment charges against George Bush tomorrow. Again, Pelosi has said impeachment is not on the table.

What pisses me off is the politics played by those who voted for it then turn around and bash Bush as if is all his fault when things do not go well. Clinton wanted Saddam just as bad as Bush. Dems have showed no class with the whole war issue.
