  • Well, well, well. Look what's going on here.

This should come as no surprise to some of us, it's what the war has been all about from the get go. And now they are getting just what they wanted. THE OIL!

If it were "War for Oil", why would'nt we just occupy and take their oil. Whats wrong with purchasing it and helping them thrive. Maybe they can make life better for themselves since we freed them.

The point of the statement is that the war suited the interests of the oil companies and benefited them which Bush has had strong ties to. Let's be honest here, he has catered to them from day one and they put him in office....

He's catered to big business in general which is what the Republicans tend to do.

Capitalism is one thing. The president of the United States lining the pockets of the oil companies that put him in office is another.....

They gave large donations to his campaign fund. Thay are also a powerful lobby group in Congress. And yes, that provided him the impetus to win the votes he needed. No money = no advertising and less campaigning. In return, they received many beni's through his presidency. Doesn't take a genius to figure this out.....

Did John Kerry start a war that he knew would benefit the oil companies that donated millions to his campaign fund, at the expense of thousands of lives and trillions of tax payer dollars???

That's what we're talking about here. Don't convolute the facts. Much of what Bush has done has benefitted the oil companies that helped put him in office. That's just a fact and it's ethically wrong.....

So did MBNA credit card services. They were the biggest contributer to Bush. And guess who wrote the new Bankruptcy law that was passed in 2005? You guessed it MBNA.
