We as a country need to stop being so partisan and prejudice. I am an registered independent and like Ralph Nader I know that both parties have members that are crooked. If a person looks at Obama resume you cannot help but be impressed. John McCain is a heroe he fought for our country spent 5 yrs as a POW. Voted with his conscious instead of his party. I am a huge fan of his, but I do not think he can lead this country. After eight years of divisive politics we need someone to tell us that we have more in commond than what we have that is different.

In all fairness, Bush had been in office for about 7 months. These attacks were planned over a 4 year period when someone else was in office. Bush was warned of attacks by land, sea, air, and everything in between. Please tell me what could have been done?

On the other side of that, WTC #1 in 1993 happened when Clinton was in office, but planned when Bush Sr. was in command. That one falls squarely on Bush Sr. Thank God Ramzi Yousef didn't major in structural engineering. Unfortuantely Bin Laden finished the job for him

        It is what it is.

That's is just what Chris Matthews ask some Senator or Congressman the other night and the guy didn't have an answer to why he was supporting him.

The truth of it is that Republicans have been so focused on Hillary and only Hillary that they didn't see the Obama fire and now thay can't put it out. All they got is, is what has Obama done?

Face it, the Republican party doesn't even have a candidate running for their party. Remember to hold your nose when you vote.

IT IS IRONIC THAT HIS APPROACH IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS BILL CLINTIONS WHEN HE RAN FOR PRESIDENT. WE CAN CHANGE, WE WILL CHANGE, I PROMISE HOPE FOR THE FUTURE, HAS BEEN USED NOW INSTEAD OF "I FEEL YOUR PAIN"

ALSO OBAMA'S WIFE HAS BEGUN TO SOUND LIKE HILLARY WHEN BILL WAS RUNNING FOR THE WHITE HOUSE.

CLINTON'S BEING BEATEN AT THIS POINT BY THE SAME APPROACH AT THERE OWN GAME MAKES THE ELECTION WORTHWHILE.
At least you're admitting the errors of the last 8 years.

No President alone can make changes unless his party has control of both the house and senate. Then his party has to stick together.

And what running candidate can prove they can do shit before elected?

                Are you serious?

Prior to 911 when was the last attack on US Soil?

If there is another attack then you can blame the dumbass President that you have in there now since he's pissed the terriosts off even more which in turn makes it a bigger threat.

Quit living in fear which is what the Republicans are basing at least 50% of their campaign on. And why? Because people want to feel safe.

McCain a man that promises to give us the same thing that we been going through the past 8 years? Senator Clinton someone that cannot take responsibility for the vote for the war? Dude you need to read George Will's column this morning about our presidents and experience. Lincoln was a one term congressman and is considered one of our best presidents.... Dude dont drink the kool aide!!!!!! How dare you say that Obama is a cheerleader after 8 years of slogans from the Bush assministration(purposely misspelled) Do you remember "cutt in run?" or "If we dont fight them there we will fight them here"

A few things could have been done

                      1. You don't reduce security at the world trade towers when you're told about a possible attack on it.

                      2. You increase security at airports

                      3. You contact all flight schools etc, regarding possible points of interests.

                      4. You increase talks with allies regarding the situation to see what info they have or can get.

I'm sure theres many other things that could have been done as well.

I think the Republican party wants Clinton to run as they have plenty of ammo to use on her. As for Obama they don't know what to say about him other than what experience does he have. I read a poll the other day and it said McCain would beat either of them. However the lead was much larger over Clinton. It also went on to state that if a Independent ran then McCain would lose more pts and Obama would win.
