  • Senate grills attorney general on waterboarding

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Attorney General Michael Mukasey told the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that it would be inappropriate to discuss whether the "waterboarding" interrogation method amounts to torture.

I got an answer to this guys worthless response on whether or not waterboarding is tortue. They should do it to him and then ask him the question again.

Human Rights Watch claimed that waterboarding can cause the sort of "severe pain" prohibited by 18 USC 2340 (the implementation in the United States of the United Nations Convention Against Torture), that the psychological effects can last long after waterboarding ends (another of the criteria under 18 USC 2340), and that uninterrupted waterboarding can ultimately cause death.

I wonder what their take is on : Arab men in black masks wielding machettes and sticking them in the necks of Americans & then chopping their heads off on the Internet??

Must be play time at the Zawahiri's again ??

I wonder if the Human Rights watch figured out that beheading an individual can cause "severe pain"??

Americans are the first to come to the aid of people, remember the Tsunami in Indonesia. We have the high ground even though some would like to bring us down for their political reasons. Thank the media for giving terrorists all the recruiting they need saying Americans and Bush are for "torture". I would say beheading is a form of "torture", given the choice, I would select waterboarding.

Should we always play by the 'rules' while the enemy disregards any & all human life for their 'cause'?

While soldiers are getting burned, dragged through streets & getting beheaded & tortured with who knows what, should we sit back & say: "oh, those terrorists are just plain funny the way they fight"??

The "Higher Moral standards rule" only applies to our soldiers by those who are reporting these wars to appease those who are mostly ANTI-REPUBLICAN: CNN
When my nephew was in Mosul when the suicide bomber killed numerous soldiers in the mess tent, where was the outcry from our media for the 'enemy' to play fair??

When my nephew & his division were hunting down terrorists, who were using children to run guns, C4 & anything else that would kill American soldiers, where was the outcry from the media for them to play nice & keep the children out of this??

I hope our soldiers will drop the weapons & start using sling shots with marshmellows just so we can be held to the higher standards while the enemy keeps playing nice.

I could personally care less what torture is done to these Al-Queda fucks who bombed our Twin Towers and killed thousands of innocent people. Do you not think that being burnt to death or jumping out of an 80 story window to avoid burning to death isn't a little bit of torture? This shit pisses me off. When do we take a stand and stick up for our own people?

My simple point to this is waterboarding is tortue. The dumbass Attorney General knows it and should say fuck yeah it is.

As for the POS that beheaded that guy they deserve the same.

However, when you fuck something up allowing torture you will get the same in return.

The great senator from Mass. had something to say about this today also:

"It's like you're opposed to stealing but not quite sure that bank robbery would qualify," retorted Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass.

                              Hey Ted??:

Its like being opposed to drowning someone but you drive your car over the Dike Bridge, grab a scotch & hope the person you left in the car returns it to your driveway in the morning with a check for damages
