IMO anyone that votes for Clinton or Giuliani doesn't have a clue. The better candidates are Kucinich and Paul.

Agree on Paul, but like Edwards who won't get the D nomination.

Like BW I'm supporting Kucinich, and Paul is my second choice. For me these are the two most honest running candidates. I also like Joe Biden. Go back to 1980 when it was Reagan and Bush, Reagan and Bush, Bush and Quayle, Clinton and Gore, Clinton and Gore, Bush and Cheney, Bush and Cheney. And now people want to add Clinton and Clinton back in? For 28 years and maybe more we have had the same policies going. I don't think as a Country we can afford the same old same old anymore. It's time to move the Country forward and past all this shit, but I feel the two guys that can do it are not front runners and that's too bad. I also think that most of the candidates running are self serving. I would vote for Kucinich, Biden, Obama, and Dodd. If any of these three get the vote Hillary, Edwards, or Richardson I might vote Republican. Paul or McCain or not vote at all.

I wouldn't give McCain any vote as he believes in the war. Also the guy is too damn old.

At least I feel that I know what I'm getting from McCain. I wish I could say that about Hillary.

On another note. If you like Edwards BC you'll love Kucinich. Edwards has bascily stold Kucinich's platform.

If there was some sort of future bet to be placed on the Iowa Caucus, I would lay the house on Edward's. The guy has practically been living there for the past four years, and his staff has a great rep around the state. He has the same strategy Kerry had in 04' which is develop a strong rural strategy. Iowa has 99 counties, and he has the most support in the rural ones. Only 77,000 people caucused in 2004, so the rural counties play a huge part. For instance, in some precincts, only 12 people caucus, so he can pick those up easily, and for the other candidates that are not going to be viable-which is getting 15% of the votes, his campaign has made deals with the others to be their second choice. If the weather is going to be bad up there, which it could be, the only people that will go and vote are the ones that have good relationships with the organizers, and I think he has the best staff.

Looks like it is. I heard this morrning that it's basically a 3 way tie in Iowa now. I also just watched a segment on Hardball and Matthews had Ralph Nader on. Even though he said he liked Kucinich, he said he liked Edwards as well, and would support him as long as he keeps going along with the progressive movement as he is now (AKA the Kucinich platform). He also said though it's a wait and see thing with Edwards. Nader fears when it comes crunch time he might fall back to the center. As Nader said "They all seem to do so".

I think Edwards is the wolf in sheeps clothing. Just about everything he voted on was the wrong vote imo and now he comes back with this I was wrong but now I'm going to be right crap. Which way is the wind blowing John?
