I spoke my peace as well....As a Panther fan, Baltimore got Fucked, as just like you people, I have the right to my opinion. New England is a damn good football team, but they were beat tonight on the field. Like Barry's homerun ball, I can put an * next to thier perfect season.

you can put an asterick next to the firstg 7 minutes of the season, cuz thats when they were caught.

Have you noticed this? Every game IVe watched in CFB and NFL they slow the replay down so much that it would question any catch! PAY ATTENTION EVERYONE! EVERYTIME THERE IS A REPLAY THEY ONLY SHOW THE REAL SLOW VERSION OF IT!!! You could slow any play down and use video to use it for you own reasons. We have just opened pandoras box with the replay and I dont know if we could ever change perception now.
Actually, a bobble and a shift are two different things. If a player catches the ball with two hands, he's allowed to tuck the ball into his body with one hand. Or if he one hands a pass, he doesn't have to only grab the ball with one hand to gain possession. You can have possession of the ball with two hands, then shift the ball to one hand to tuck it in.

A bobbling would be losing possession of the ball or an unintentional slip of the ball from your control. On that play, Gaffney caught it with two hands, then shifted it to his right hand. He never lost control/possession of the ball. If he had caught it with two hands, then the ball came free slightly and he grabbed it with one, that would not be possession. However, although he shifted the ball, he was in control and possession the whole time.

Also, something to remember, that was a first down play. Plus, with the two penalties against Baltimore after the play, if the call was overturned, they would have had first and goal on the 1 or 2. No sure touchdown, but it's not like the TD was the last play of the game.

OK .. he was bobblling the ball as he was trying to shift it. It really wasnt a catch. If you are moving the ball going out of bounds its not a catch. Also all football players know that at the sidelines you catch the pass and dont try and switch shit! It was a not a catch plain and simple!

                              • i am a die hard dolphin fan so i probably hate the pats more than anyone here...lol..with that being said the ravens cost themselves that game not the refs...i thought the holding was pretty ticky tack but watson did get held and i thought that was definetley a catch...ravens had a chance after that punt return to really take control and they called some horrible plays there imo...everyone and there mother knew they were gonna run the ball, why they didnt go play action baffles me...and they should have ran on 3rd down to get into manageable field goal range...instead boller forces one...baltimore had it and gave it away not the refs
