Hey guys, I guess I would be middle class. Of my take home income, 10% goes to medical and dental insurance for my family. Basically I pay a little over $4,000.00 a year..after taxes!! My biggest two gripes is the people who have ten kids and don't pay a dime for their healthcare because of the taxes that I pay, about $12,000 a year goes to paying for them.

And second that my company does not have a cafateria plan that would save me some money every year by allowing me to pay for that expense with pre-tax money.

I love my family, and could not imagine risking their lives by not paying for our medical coverage. People who take advantage of the system should be ashamed of themselves...but people who need the help and need it at no fault of their own should get it. JMO.
      $100/unit

      They are all booger eaters!!!

All of his money came from Cerebal Palsy Lawsuits? And do you have the facts behind those Lawsuits?

What people fail to realize is a Verdict is just that. The Judge can reduce the amount. If the Judge doesn't then the appeals Court can. And if they don't then the Supreme Courts can.

Most Lawsuits that you read about that are for Big $ like the lady who got 3rd degree burns from coffee from McDonalds ended up getting a very small amount after the appeals Court reduced the amount. Unfortunately those stories and their endings don't make for a good read.

Also the Punitive damage cap has been installed now for years.

Back to the point, do those number change your opinion at all on rich people and taxes?
