        3rd blown save

has 25 saves all year. 3.27 ERA

check the stats guys...he's been money.

sucks it happended today, but blanket statements like this are pretty dumb.

Valverde, Cordero, hoffman, saito, wagner all have more blown saves in the NL then Dempster.

jenks, k rod, johnes, nathan, rivera all have more then dempster as well.

i guess they are all very weak too

Opposing hitters dont stand there and think this DEMPSTER guy is unbeatable. His career numbers as a closer are below average. My statement was he is a WEAK closer. And he is .

didn't realize that his CAREER stats had anything to do with this year.

And my statement is that he's not been this year.

And if you care to look at the facts, you can see that your statment is incorrect.

lets look at all the first place teams....and wild card leaders

cleve: borowski - 6 blown saves
                      angels: k rod - 5 blown saves
boston: papplebon - 2 blown saves
yankees: rivera - 3 blown saves

arizona- valverde - 7 blown saves
milwaukee- cordero - 8 blown saves
                      mets - wagner - 4 blown saves
san diego- hoffman - 5 blown saves

So the only closer right now better statistically then him would be papplebon.

How can that be considered weak???

These types of posts happened THREE times this year....for every blown save.

funny how nothing is said when he's saved the other 25 for us.

                        just typical I guess.

                        have at it guys....bash away.

                        it's actually getting humorous

Funny how you forget to factor in that DEMPSTER has pitched less than thos others. He missed part of the year. SO your facts are hardly the right comparison to make
