Here is what I think should happen.

1. Build a fence along the entire southern border with check points along it. NO MORE OPEN SOUTHERN BORDER!

2. If you are not going through the process to become an America citizen. If you do not have a passport or visa and you are in this Country, you are going to be sent back where you came from. If your parents are here illegally and you were born here, it no longer makes you a LEGAL citizen. You will be sent back with your parents. The child can reapply for citizenship at the age of 18 but must be able to pass a background check to get in.

3. If you are in the process of becoming an American citizen and you are committing crimes you are going to go back where you came from.

12 Million people they say are here illegally and it's the middle class people that are paying for it. AND THAT IS ME! (And I'm LOW middle.) These illegals are putting a strain our school, health, welfair, prison, and legal systems. Not to even mention our jobs! I'm tired of fliping the fucking bill for it!

They say how are you going to send back 12 Million people. I say shut down the border with a REAL fence, and start rounding them all up! (I'm not condoning what they did, but it's the only example I could think of.) The Nazi's in the late 30's to early 40's rounded up more than 6 million Jews through out Europe and they didn't have anything close to the technology we have today. In no way am I saying round up illegals and miss treat or kill them. I'm saying round them up and send them back where they came from though.

The East Germans built a wall when they felt they needed too, and got it done. We are just dicking around, WHY!?!? Didn't 911 change America? It seems all that has changed has been the airlines. We just keep letting people come through our Southern border not knowing who is coming in. Homeland security my ass. Just more bureaucracy that we pay for.

I'm not saying that people shouldn't or can't come to this Country, but if you are you are going to do it right and go through the process of becoming an American.

Germany built a wall for different reasons.

Bush believes building a fence that only covers 1/3 of the border will work.

What will work is a fence with barbwire on top along with more border security check points and more border patrol officers. Also the fence should be lit at night using solar lights. I would go so far as saying making the fence electric, but that would be cruel.

Another problem though is the Govt passed a bill were semi trucks can come out of mexico much more easily thus the chance of bringing in more illegal aliens.

Have you not seen the stories regarding the elaborate tunnels that have been dug UNDER the Border I.E. Tijuana !

A fence is not going to be full proof. That's why I'm not for just some chainlink fence with razorwire, I want a Berlin type wall put in. Look, the people coming from Mexico are not coming here for their freedom, they are coming here taking our JOB'S, and taking over OUR SCHOOLS, OUR HEALTH CARE, OUR WELFAIR AND SO ON! The fence has too be a BIG deterrent so that know one would want to try and cross it. OK, so some get through. Go and try to get a job with the employer getting a HEAVY FINE for hiring an illegal. You have to make it NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE to come into this Country illegally!!!

Ron Paul made a statement in the Republican debate saying that we would not like it if some Country were to invade us. Talking about us being in Iraq. Well, there is a Country invading us, it's Mexico! Look around! Billboards in Spanish. Products we buy in the stores are in both Spanish and English. There own T.V and radio stations. We make it too easy for them in this Country so they don't have to try to learn OUR CULTURE! This has to STOP!

desperate people will find a way to get here if it is that important. make it so hospitals DON'T have to treat everyone, that would also solve the problem of being a citizen if you are born here (no record of it if you aren't born in a hospital). you must be a citizen to get into our schools. heavy fines for employers that hire them, but you have to have a system that employers can check any paperwork that someone may produce. you would have to allow enough LEAGAL immigration so some industries can still get employees.

it's just like drugs now, and alcohol years ago. when there is great incentive (money), there will be people willing to do it no matter what the penalties.
