I was watching MSNBC yesterday and almost spit out my cereal when I heard this story. I am just interested to see what the BC Politic Hounds think of this.

Pretty dumb when they don't know if the contestants will even be a match for the kidney.

Just heard yesterday that the whole show was a hoax. The women who was supposedly going to donate the kidney turned out to be an actress that was 100% healthy. The people who set it up did so in order to make the world know how desperate people in the Netherlands are for kidney transplants. It seemed pretty effective, but kind of a fucked up way to get out a "PSA"!
