David Stern Is A Asshole

i just heard the news conference he had with dan patrick from espn and it made me sick on how ignorant stern was during the hole interview.he totally just defended his actions and would not even answer patricks questions.he did now ruin the series between the spurs/suns by suspending those two star players from the suns.this is the only seris that is any good and he just killed the luster of the series.i wish i could get a letter to him and boy would he get a thrashing from me ,but i know its near impossible to get that done......how does anyone else feel about this?let me know,am i overreacting on this or do you agree that he hurt the best series badly by his decisions.

Not at all Sea..he is the man and needs to take a stand and he sat this one out IMO...How do you suspend their players for what the Spurs caused...weak rule...and interpretation of that rule prevailed...it needs changed.

No....the asshole is A. Stoudemire and Diaw. NBA (and all othert professional) players think they are above all rules whether they are on the court or out in public and I'm fed up with it. The rules clearly state that no player must step foot on the court during an altercation. Stoudmire has fucked all Suns fans not David Stern. Rules are set in place for a reason, and WE ALL MUST FOLLOW THEM! Besides...without rules we might as well all be muslim!

Simply put, the players are paid millions to play basketball by the owners and fans pay thousands to watch those players. Stepping foot onto the court should not have resulted in a suspension. The rule is stupid and obviously can be interpreted in different ways.

One part of the rule states the players are not allowed to leave the 'bench area.' What IS the 'bench area' and who plays judge and jury as to whether a player leaves that area? Is the area 10ft, 11ft, 20 ft? It's a dumb ass rule.

For what it's worth, the Suns win outright tonight.....

Dude you have it right he is an asshole. there were clear infractions the whole series committed by the spurs. I only heard part of that interview and you are right (BTW Sea o fred. LOL What has been up buddy? Hope you have been doing well) Stern sounded like a total ass. I felt like he was yelling at Patrick, is this the way the commish should be acting? I think he should fine himself $10,000.00 for the way he acted. From what little I did hear, Stern would not let Patrick get his question out. Patrick did make a point though. Maybe if STERN would have suspended Bowen for kneeing Nash MAYBE this whole thing might not have happend, or the kick in the back of the leg. They are also talking about the time Robinson came off the bench. I'm not sure what game that was but regaurdless, should Robinson have been suspended? The rules are the rules!?!?! And he wasn't.
