gas is 12 cents in Venezuela and $3.29 in Hawaii, but here in the central coast gas is $3.60 +. Go figure they have to ship gas out to Hawaii but its more expensive here on the mainland. In Canada gas is $4+ and they have oil sand pits there. With all that an oil refinery hasn't been built in the last 25 years in North America.
