The following is PART of an email rip sent me today and he wanted me to let everyone know he misses them. So I figured to just copy some of the email onto this thread. 95% of sports bettors do not last. it is NOT a career for most people. there are a certain few however who have the discipline to consistantly win year after year. This is NOT for everybody.

If that is the reason he's "out of the game", then that is his own fault. If the "FADES" were working SO masterfully, than why is he out? Just a few thoughts guys. Let's not act like he's dead and will be missed. He's decided to call it quits for whatever reason.

Well said. We all lose. We have losing games, days, weeks. The key is accepting and learning from those loses.

Instead of 'mourning' the loss of Ripple. Fellow members should be congratulating him. Gambling is a horrible addiction. Most get consumed by it. It takes over their live. I've had my differences with Rip. I wish him the best of luck. I hope he never bets again. There's lots to life besides sports and betting. It took me 20+ years of sports betting to learn some of those lessons.
