Great thread! Let's get 'em tonight... I'll be looking for the NBA plays, too...
Be careful where you bet your ponies! Some books DO NOT pay out full track odds!!! I learned this the hard way. When I first started, I placed a bet with my sportsbook only to find out that they cap the winner at something like 20-1. If you pick a 30-1 winner, it doesn't matter, they still only pay you the max they allow... Bummer! TCBets advertises here and used to offer a really good sign up bonus, not sure if it is still in effect or not. They do pay full track odds, as does Pinny and Pinny has a 7% rebate on all your bets, win or lose... Make sure you check before you bet!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone was asking about payouts. The horse payouts are different than sports. For example, if you lay $2.00 to show and the show comes in with a $2.10 winner, your profit is only 10 cents for risking $2.00! That is probably why win/place are the suggested bets.... You DO NOT get $2.10 plus your original $2.00 back....
