Here’s a list of situations on how some teams did in certain roles.
Home Favorites Sides: 1217-902-2 (57.3)Totals: 1005-1018-98

As you can see from the chart above, home favorites have a slight edge, but one has to be careful when betting home favorites, as you don’t want to be getting into the habit of betting favorites during baseball season, as you will find yourself playing “bankroll catch-up”, as betting favorites in baseball can be very deadly if you don’t have the right information on the chalk. As for the totals, the line makers have done an excellent job balancing the OVER/UNDER totals during the month of April, as there’s really no clear cut advantage on the OVER or UNDER since 1997.
