Monte and the site....

Hey guys. I spoke to Monte tonight in length. He was able to finally read the emails we've all sent and called me to talk about the situation here with Joe and Wayne signing off. Monte's been pretty ill and was unable to get to a computer during the past week.

The last thing he wanted to do was leave this situation in limbo. He assured me he'd be back on here posting and answering any questions you all have. He wished Wayne and Joe nothing but the best and told me how much he really did appreciate all they did for the site these past several years.

Hope you get better Monte and hopefully we'll be hearing from you soon....

Everyone, I was shocked when I read Kaz's e-mail about Wayne and Joe leaving the site to moderate at a competitor's site. Along with them recruiting members from this site over to the competitors. I was not able to make any calls to let anyone know that I had to enter into the hospital again after an incident with my Defibrillator/Pacemaker. I tried to give my Parents directions on how to find a number for the mods on the site, but they couldn't find it. So needless to say I'm still shocked, disappointed, frustrated etc.

I put a lot of trust in with Wayne and Joe. I thought we had squashed some issues out and everything was fine so I'm kind of lost for words at this moment. I hate to see what happened!

If there's anyone that posts on here that I've offended by lack of not being here, something I said etc. then I want to apologize to you guys. As my intent has never been to offend anyone on this site as you guys are the ones that make this site what it is and always will.

Needless to say I do plan on adding some sportsbook contests as well as a point system. I talked some about the point system in another thread as I need to check in on the project to see when it would be ready. Basically it's a rewards system to you guys as you receive points for posts etc, then in exchange you can use those points to shop for things like gift cards, sportsbook accounts etc. in a shop that will be installed on the site.

Also I will be starting to give out free $25 betting accounts to the books on the sites to people who click on the banners and register through this site. This is an opportunity to allow you to try a book on the site to see how you like it. Now this will take me some time to get it set up so bare with me on this new feature.
