I just think the Dodgers are peaking at the right time and that in the past, has been a recipe for championships. I think Torre is a decent manager and the team turned a corner after acquiring Manny and seems to be feeding off the vibe.

The Dodgers remind me of one of those sleeper teams out of the NL. Fly low on the radar and before you know it, they win it all. See Marlins, Cardinals and Dbacks in previous years....

I might agree if it was a team OUTSIDE of the NL West. Those teams have one thing in common every post season ... they never win. When was the last time a team from the NL West won it all? They have a long history of falling on their face in the end. The Dodgers may just be next in line?

Maybe. They seem to have confidence. And it just seems like they have a mix that wants to prove something. Manny, Nomar, Torre. Pitching looks solid and they have a good bullpen. If they hit, they win. It's that simple if you ask me. And their bats seem to have life right now. Time will tell. FWIW, I'm just an observer. I've never been a Dodger fan, so this isn't homer-speak.
