I didn't see it but heard about it on the radio. It was a sports talk show that was giving play by play from the TV. The said Pierzynsky (sp) took a sucker punch. Then they ripped him because he plays the 'tough guy' role, but he went hiding behind the mobs of people. Then we he was going to the dugout, he started his tough guy act to get the crowd riled up and then started yelling at the Cubs...if true, what an idiot!

From what I have read at various forums, AJ slammed into Barrett on a sac fly and slapped the plate in effect showing Barrett up. They had some words and then Barrett cold cocked AJ right in the cheek.

From there bench clearing brawl...AJ, Barrett, Mabry and Anderson were all ejected.

I won't make assumptions on this until I see it, but if this doesn't fire up the Cubs, nothing will .

I love Michael Barrett, always have since he got to the north side. But I will be the first to get on him if it was a sucker punch.

Can't wait to see the highlights.

GL Man ... Just remember, each game you watch involving the Cubs does nothing more than take 3 hours of your life away. Stay away from the T.V. and feel blessed that you have limited coverage on them where you live!

wow...I didn't know you took the under. 13 of Floridas 16 home games have gone over. That was pretty risky, but I guess against the Cubs that might not have been that bad given they have no offense most of the time.
