Capping games is something I just enjoy. I'm pretty sure I've only posted plays once in the past 2-3 weeks. I didn't take those games in real life, but did post because a couple people asked me too.

The book doesn't say "DON'T GAMBLE", it just shows you what's important in life and what isn't. I'm not saying I'll never place another wager in my life, but I just don't let it consume me at all, like it did a little bit before. That's all. Sorry you're confused by it.

I have been busy most of the day and juts saw this thread, but I read the book over a year ago, and I got a lot out of it, and at least for me it puts the meaning of life and what is important in perspective.
Although I was born (which thus teaches different precepts), I am very much a spiritual person and do believe in the philosophy set forth in the book about a meaningful existence for all of us.
For anyone intending to read the book, I would advise just reading one chapter a day as I did(and as advocated by the author).
My feelings can be summarized as saying that the book both reinforced many feelings which I had prior to reading it and gave my additional insights regarding life.
For anyone who at times likes to think of things OTHER than pointspreads, I would strongly advise reading it:I think you will at the very least get something out of it and hopefully a lot more.

i have it on book cd...but have not listened to it.......RJ, everybody has a turning point in life and this may be yours.....It is inspiring when you feel you have a purpose as opposed to drifting from one thing to another that leaves you unfulfilled.....Did you move to california???? Definately a turning point in my life, without a doubt! I move in a month, and yes i'll stay with the same company.
