I chose that pic because I found it PARTICULARLY DISTURBING.


The self centered bastard begging for camera and media time with this disgusting display of total disregard for the fact that he's supposed to be involed in a TEAM SPORT and Gonzaga just suffered a dreadful TEAM LOSS.


It doesn't get more nauseating than this.


And I keep reading and hearing that Morrison is a diabetic.

So is my Aunt Connie.

Who gives a shit about his metabolic error ? It's unfortunate , but millions of OTHER STRANGERS suffer from the same malady. He is not more or less as important as anyone else in this world.


Little wonder why these snotnoses and this silly tournament put more people into Gamblers Anonymous each year ... more than any other " sport "

They make the mistake of falling for the oldest trick in the book ... announcers , newspapers , etc. getting them PERSONALLY INVOLVED with these nobodys whom they've never met before. It makes no sense ... certainly not if they want to have any shot at making money.

After all , this is the ONLY reason why we elect to do what we do.

We can either be wagerers or cheerleading fans ... if we try to be both ... most times it ends in tragedy. We are not permitted to hate or love the players ... they are merely STATISTICS.


Why am I such a cold hearted bastard ? Because that's EXACTLY what I have to be in order to make money. I refuse to get soft by letting these people work their way into my heart.

I know where you're coming from ... honestly I do ... and you're not wrong by a long shot. You have the luxury of appreciating the sport you obviously love and deeply care about.

I don't have that luxury ... it's unfortunate ... but I just can't.


I realize I've set myself up as the bad guy here Bud but it's a betting forum and serious money rolls in and out of our Bettors Chat Community.


I don't think I'm wrong by trying to instill on younger wagerers that we must be mentally tough and not let " distractions " influence our judgment. I know it takes the fun out of it but the thing we do must be treated like a business.

You seem like a really good guy and I hope things are going well for you.

I agree that you have the correct mentality to be a successful bettor...you have to be cold hearted SOB to win and not bet with your loyalities to a certain team. I appreciate your response and I of course wish you nothing but success with your future wagers!
