Not really a regular poster here but I noticed what happened last night and I want to say that I hate that fro you. My advice for you is take the 6000 you won on the Cardinals and put it on the Yankees tonight -210 and parlay it with Florida against the Pirates with Dontrelle Willis. The reason this a good play is Dontrelle owns the Pirates. The lefty vs lefty match-up is tough on Pittsburgh since there hottest hitters are Rob mackovicack and daryle ward both power hitting lefties and Pittsburgh is countering with a good lefty of the own but he should have trouble with all the right handed power bats of FLorida - (cabrerra, encarnacion, and lowell). The other safe play might be the under 7.5 instead of Florida but I just don't see anyway the Pirates sweep four games against the Marlins!

As for the Yankees play, the guy the Royals are starting ahs never faced them and just got rocked in 3 & 1/3 innings against the Angels. Yes the Yankees are not hitting right now and it might be closer than everyone thinks but the bottom line is the Yankees do not get sweep by the worst team in baseball. Furthermore Pavano struggled in his last outing and I won't put it past him to nut up and throw a 1 or 2 run ball game. So there you have it 6000 on the Yankees -210 parlyed with Marlins or the MArlins/Pirates under 7.5 your choice!

thanks Bro, the 6,000 on St. Louis did help the bleeding a little bit. Again, that 10K was split between my and a guy I cap with. Anyway, I am taking the Yanks AGAIN tonight because Pavano is SOLID!!!!!!!! I am also going to the Pirates game tonight, I live about 1 mile from PNC Park, and I think you are correct, Willis gets the win tonight. They're saying it might rain for a little bit during the game.

i do not understand the point of the bet???? am i missing something?? if it won, would the point have been different?? i am not trying to bust balls, but i am baffled by the why's of bets...to me they are just black and white...no excuses and no apologies.....i am sorry.....i do not understand the banter about this .....i am sorry for your loss and regardless of financial shape of a person...27K is alot of money and when it is not you are worth HUGE money or have lost respect for it.....

I'll state the reasoning behind it 1 more time:

A guy I bet with/cap with and I were getting ready to watch some games last night and we decided to throw 10K on the Yanks. 5K for each of us. Just for the hell of it, we figured we'd try and make it pretty big. We decided on a bet like that we didn't want the Yanks to win by 1 and we lose by taking the Run Line. So we layed the wood. It wasn't through our local, it wasn't in my personal online acct., we went through a seperate acct. It didn't win. Big deal! I didn't post it in my plays as a play for anyone to take. I even said I wouldn't post a game like that because most people wouldn't take it because of the high line. It's over with, I wish you guys would just drop it!

RJ....i agree...who cares??? just a point or 2......it seems to be you that gets fired up and keeps it rolling........at no point until the game lost did you mention a partner, and you did say it was 27K...not 10k split 2 ways.......

i could really care less, but i am bringing to your attention some things that appear inconsistent......which may have brought some of this attention to you

you do not owe me an explanation as i am really just a peripheral guy on this site who just wishes people luck and follows plays (yours included).......i just never have been big when someone loses and there are explanations and reasons....however, that may be just me......i wish you good luck and it just my 2 cents.......this is not an insult, just an observation

Before you parlay 6k on Dontrell don't forget Dontrell owned the Mets unitl last weekend. He was 8-0 vs. Mets.

Right now I wouldnt bet 6k on Florida. They've been slumping the past week.

Pavano got rocked last start. He's 4.18 ERA is far from solid

IMO Pavano is very overrated due to his performance in the WS a few years ago.

I tried to post right around the first pitch so people WOULDN'T follow the play. I would never recommend anyone take a play like that! Like I said before I almost never take a game over -160, this was just a 1 shot deal.
