ps If you think Memphis/Wiz "affair" is staged, to me it is sort of incongruous/naive NOT to think that some missed free throws are also "staged" when the ATS winner is at stake.

I will say that I have read all the posts here in this thread and can see some people may be angry with him starting his own site. Well all the major sites out there started somehow and I don't know which one was created first, BC or **? Whichever one was first there had to be some bad feelings when the other one started up. I don't see a problem with that. I also didn't know that members to a site were considered "property" of that site and that the MODs don't like members looking at other sites? With as childish as Wiz was here in some of his debates I don't have a problem with him and have been over at his site posting and seeing what other members are playing over there just LIKE I am doing here and many other forums.

I don't know what the threat was and can imagine that Wiz's temper could bring up some dumb comments, but I'm pretty sure, and if vegas had a bet i would put everything that I have on it, is that even if a few guys from here go over there, that BETTORSCHAT isn't going to shut down.

This is like a Starbucks store being afraid of a guy opening up a coffee cart across the street. What is the worry? I don't see it and think that alot of worry is being hashed over nothing. I love this site and many others for different reasons and just wanted to say my peace.

icetech monte was just expressing his feelings and thoughts,Also he ask for other opinions,,A few guys that he went to battle for and kept taking them back went to his site (wiz)and than tried to threaten to take this site down.I know ur the new register user over there and we all do what we think is right at the time.BUt i dont think bc has anything to worry about..Wiz;s site at one time the most users on his site was 13 people(lol) and today the most was 4.....so montes and bc is safe..These guys just should've left and went in business for themselves and shut the fuck up and go about there business.I have a small business and a few of the guys that worked for me went in the same business and they were cool about it and now i try and give them work that we dont want .Wiz should just stay with his 13 people and shut the hell up and stay off this site........thats all monte wants ..i think ..(wiz & boxer should merge than they will get 14 people )

As for the name. I have said different times that I go by Homer to my local. So I don't want the username Homer all over the place so I changed it. Also did the Change for BC so people wouldn't go there because I was.

well I guess this is why I got the email this morning.
Well first of all I was a member here when Wiz was a member here but at that time all I basically did was stay in the service play area and barely if ever ventured out of it. I did not hardly ever leave the service area until I had words and argued with some of the higher ups here on this forum and then I was banned, and I was asked to come back by a friend and I came back to this site, and yes i have always liked this site, Hell I liked this site and most of the people so much on here that I went out and purchased a consensus report for the sole purpose was to give back and to have some input to this site and because I did become friends with people here and I wanted something to offer people, I mean hell I barely play $25.00 a game but yet I go out and by a report that cost from 300-450 a sport.
It damn sure is not because I plan on getting rich by gambling now is it and I put in probably on average anywhere between 4 hours a day and 8 hours a day on this site and on the net handicapping games and i do it because I love to handicap and to try and pick games and I have the time to do so because of personal timings. But I did not and whenever Monte and Wiz was fighting and yes I do remember MMM also as her and i have had words in the past either and I will admit I am a MODERATOR at Wiz's site and I have told people about his site that I thought was my friends from this site and also some people that I know from other sites also as I am and I am sure the MODS here when they became Mods I would hope they were proud of it but I NEVER thought it was a ""SLAP>>>>"" to Monte's face at all and I never intended it or meant it that way.
I have emailed Monte and expressed my views and I have also talked to SPARK about my views on what goes on in the service area also and I have friends here and over there on the other site but Hell if i thought something like this was going to be the result. I am also a member of about 5 to 8 other handicapping sites also, well actually more than that but there are only 3 sites I go to on a daily basis and a couple I visit off and on , It just became to much hassle and this site and wiz's is the basically only sites I go to but I never knew that this was a personal thing at all, and I post on both sites I do not only steal from this site and add to the other site at all, but if everyone thinks I do then I am sorry.
and as far as services being posted on other sites and that service plays are taken from a lot of sites and brought here to this site also as when I was banned from this site whenever I posted my report at another site it somehow mysteriously showed up on this site also. and sometimes because I still had friends and i think very good friends on this site I gave those friends my report or some of the plays some of the guys were asking for on this site , i gave them the plays so they could and did post here for everyone to have because I wanted the people that I considered to be my friends and for everyone to have the plays they wanted.
now I do not know what to do or what should be done. I would like to remain friends with everyone that I consider to be a friend and not have to choose between friends or acquaintances or anything like that. I never at all knew anything like this was going to be the result or anything like that at all. I have had my ins and outs with everyone that I come in contact with because I will speak my opinion and More times than not I will have an opinion on just about everything also. and I do not know if this at all makes any sense at all either as I do not know what to think of this as I think what I have read in some earlier posts have been directed directly to wards me and that I never expected but they know who they are and they know how to contact me and if they wish I will talk to them personally on the phone to get this matter straightened out also. As I am not trying to undercut anyone at all and I will stand behind my beliefs and actually I have some of my own thoughts on some things that has happened in the past also.
And I am not afraid to come out and say that I am one of or maybe the one or one of the moderators at Wiz's site that has been mentioned in this thread.

Now I type as I think and as it comes to me so I do not know how much of this anyone can make any sense out of or anything else but I will answer any questions that anyone wants to ask me or/and will talk on the phone with anyone on here and or about this issue and that includes every Moderator on this site and I will talk to them in a conference call or on an individual basis. And each one of you can email me and we will go form there.

We've had words and you've cut me more than my fair share of slack with all my tirades but at least you know that I'll never visit The Wiz ... LOL Truth is ... I don't know of any other site and I don't want to know. Everything we need is right here and BC is a big part of our lives. I'm not well schooled in the business end of BC but I would say that of course while you have concerns about "competition " there is no need for worry. It seems that you're 5 steps ahead of " the next best thing " whatever that is .

I was pretty sad after our " discussions " last week and I'm hoping things will mend.

Coverboy, I have no ill feelings towards you. I felt if anything we let emotions ride and we're past that. I've admitted in this thread that i'm far from perfect and not always right in my views. People are not always going to agree and i understand that. I would never get personal with someone using family and etc. like others have done. It means too much to me and i wouldn't degrade or try to lower someone with those tactics. I honestly meant no harm with the Italian jokes either. It was done in fun and by means done with any intent. I'm firmly on one side of the fence here and with good reason (IMO). This site has never made me a penny as far as working here. The only benefit i get is the friendships formed through posting. I have no problems with people posting at a dozen places and have said that here, but i do know what wiz has said and done and in some form or fashion don't think he or his site should be rewarded in any way for doing what he has done. I tried to get along with him several times but the things he said in leaving really turned me on him. I can't respect or treat or help someone that has treated others the way he has. Monte has bent over backwards to help him and yes when it comes to that particular site and his motives i do think some should take the side of the "Host" here (Monte) and show that certain people can't do certain things and be rewarded for it.
