  • What does everyone do for a living?

I have always wondered what some of the people that frequent this site for picks, to post or to find services do for a living.

    I'll start.

I am currently working for a concrete/snowblowing company in wisconsin. I hate the work but it pays the bills for now.

Looking forward to see what everyone does.

I am a construction cost estimator for a large northern Jersey construction manager. I enjoy bidding hard money jobs, it is in a way, like handicapping and betting.

Until I retired in 2003, I was a Quality Control Specialist for the Dept. of Transisitional Assistance-simply put, my job was to make sure that folks receiving assistance, usually food stamps, were entitled to it and were getting the right amount.
I also did monthly computer statistics/studies fdor the government regarding the people who were receiving TAFDC benefits.
Great job-I liked the work,it wasn't too hard, and I set my own hours(came and go as I wanted).
However, there is nothing like being retired and FREE as a bird to do what you want and when you want to do it.

I am a bricklayer/ construction worker / carpenter in Omaha, NE. Bad place to be if you work outside cause of the bad winters there is no work. So that is when I retire to the internet and have time to study and post my picks on here. Which is my fav. Would like to hit lottery so I could be a professional gambler. Who wouldn't.

How cool I have a friend down there in Topeka. I go visit her once in a while. We usually go get smashed at a bar called Spankys. I will have to let you know when I head down there next. Most likely this summer sometime.
