I'm not really sure what to think of it to be honest Rook. Sounded like to me that when he took over as team Prez, he was genuinely concerned about putting a winning product on the field and just not filling up the seats. Hopefully they'll get another guy in with the same attitude.

I'm kind of the same. I'm just wondering if he knew that once new ownership comes in...he'd be out. Cause he was a huge part of the Cubs marketing for many years, and did a great job last year. I'm very torn by this.

On the other hand as a Blackhawks fan....this is the best thing that could have EVER happen to that franchise, other then Bill Wirtz kicking the bucket.

I just wonder now what that does for the off season free agents, etc.... for the cubs.
