Yeah, you have a sump. Has that thing ever overflowed?

You should look into getting a flame hawk. Small fish and a great personality.

If you see directly below the hoses that go into the bio ball tank there is a black plastic cover ... right below the cover are filter pads ... I change those every other day and rinse and clean ... if I let it go for 4 or 5 days then it will overflow but there is an overflow catch that does not spill onto floor .... but it does not filter that water that overflows ... Those pads have to be changed every 2-3 days ... if you go on vacation it is ok to remove the pads for a week or 2 ...


Flame angel is too small for this tank with the fish I have... It would last 5 seconds with my puffer and hogfish ... I did have a flame angel years ago in another tank ... you are correct ... it is a good and hearty fish ...

I have had very good treatment at my local fish store. They have been more than helpful.

That's good then as I said I was steared in the wrong direction and learned a lot from it. If I ever do get another one I will know what to do and not to do.

You guys should get a flame hawk. I had one of them and they are hardy plus cool.
