biggio hit 1st pitch of the game to 3rd for a ground out. next batter up Tavaras fouled the 1st pitch off. 2nd pitch he fouled as well. 3rd pitch was a ball. that means in total 3 pitches were thrown before a ball was IMO.

the way you said it was the 1st pitch of the game ball or strike and since the 1st pitch was hit i would assume you lose.

After reading your wager ticket it said first called pitch of game and if the first called pitch was a strike then you should have won. I would bitch!

Does 1st call mean not a swing or a swing and a miss? Where does it say YOU picked Strike?

1st pitch strike in cards/hou game. carpenters 1st pitch was hit by biggio for a ground out to 3rd. next batter swong and fouled off the 1st pitch for a strike. Somehow i lost the bet. A ball wasnt called until 2 pitches later of the 2nd batter..... WTF?????

since the 1st pitch got hit it wasnt a strike, so thats why you lost..i think.
