What's up fellas?? Dega fixing to get fired up. I won't be around much cause I don't want to know what's going on cause my friend is tivo'ing the race and i'm going to watch it after work this evening.

the ticket is $65 only thing is you must have your car inspected in order to register the car in NY. Kelly's registration is up june 1st. So its like we are screwed. I did however find on NYSdmv site that if you spend $450 on your emissions for inspection and problem isnt fixed you get a waiver and automatically get the pass inspection. So i think what were gonna do is get the intake gasket fixed for $475 and then do the inspection, @ that point if it fails will get the waiver. I dont like spending $475 but it beats spending $800 +

Dimer , Don't you have a mechanic that you TRUST ?
Dealers always co$t more and find all kinds of shit to fix .
Get a referral by someone that you know or do business with for a GOOD mechanic . You should be able to find someone that can do the work for half as much !
Screw the Dealer !

PS - If your water pump IS BAD , you will defintely have to replace that or you car could Overheat doing terminal damage to the Engine ! I don't know about Saturns for sure but on MOST cars you can try moving the fan blades back and forth or grab it (Motor off ,duh) with both hands and if there is a LOT of play side to side ....that would indicate that it is BAD !! gl
