The main thing, where the 2 canals meet, that we catch is Bowfin, or as we call it down here is Choupique. Catfish is also becoming active in that area as well.

In the smaller canal we catch a lot of Perch and Crappie.

My cousin just bought a 14 foot flat bottom alunimun boat. So we will be going down the canal and probably catching some nice Bass.

Since my Aunt has purchaced the property, about a year ago, she has never seen a boat in the main canal. It really is perfect for us. NO ONE else fishes there but us.

The smaller canal is on her property, and is only about 6 feet deep.
