WOW...what a day yesterday.

We were originally scheculed to fly to Denver @ 8:50 AM on Wed morning.....everything running smoothly... We get about 1/3 of the way there and they say we have to turn around and go back to Sioux Falls. So we land and get in line to rebook our flights to try and get to Denver. We waited in line for 3.5 hours and scheduled our flight for Thursday @ 6:05 AM to Denver. We leave the airport at 2:30 in the afternoon and go to a friends house. I was watching the weather channel at about 7 PM and they say that the Denver airport has now been shut down through thursday.

So we go back to the airport and United has no more flights to denver...they do some searching and find out Northwest has a flight from Sioux Falls to Minneapolis to Denver leaving @ 6:05 friday (our return flight was always scheduled to be on Sun). By the time they switch our info over to them someone else has booked up the seats. And there was nooooo way we could get to Colorado Springs via Denver. mutha fuckers.....you gotta love air travel. Although nothing that United or Northwest coulda done....it was all that fricken snow.

WOW that sucks man, i was hoping you would have got their before the storm.
