You need to speed that process up .... Get the MRI done ASAP. They'll know within minutes what is wrong. From there, they can determin the proper way to fix it. I'm thinking that a nerve block injection will make you feel 100% better

I agree 100% ... and take it from a couple of guys that have gone through it ..

Mid feb??? fvk that .. you should be there today .. you do not know if you are doing more damage either ...

i really want to get an MRI but my dr. is taking this slow, like its no big deal. well thats cause he doesnt have to be in pain like i do.

i really want to get an MRI but my dr. is taking this slow, like its no big deal. well thats cause he doesnt have to be in pain like i do.

Bry, if the surgeon proposes surgery be sure to ask a bunch of questions before deciding. Back surgery is a big step. Ask him for sure about the success rates of whatever surgery he proposes if he proposes surgery. And ask him some specific questions about alternative approaches other than surgery. Just my .02. take care.

thanks garth. i really just wanna feel better, i dont care if i have surgery or not. i just want to know what exactly is wrong and how it can be fixed. thats really it. i hate being hurt. this sucks

ok but not great. just got to the office, went to PT again this morning. i'm scheduled to go see a orthopedic surgeon in mid feb. for now i continue to go to PT and have been taking the meds. they help but my back and leg still hurt. Standing on my feet for anything more than a few minutes i start getting throbbing in pain. especially in my leg. it sucks. i hope to have an MRI and when i get into see the specialist hopefully he'll know what exactly is wrong and what the plan is to make me better, cause living like this blows ass.
