5/9..odds of hitting a 7 before are the same odds as a blackjack pays (one and a 1/2)

just walk up to the table. put $25 chip on the pass line. then simply say you want 54 across and you have all the #s covered. if a 7 comes up right away your done. if not. well you keep collecting with every roll until a 7 comes up
