why not? what has he done in Nascar? how many titles has he won? i've won as many cup titles as JR has. and that isnt saying much. i dont hate the guy like i do #18 on the colts. but to say he is a top 5 driver on the curcuit is foolish. top 10 maybe. top 5 not a chance.

he has finished in the top 5 twice in the past 3 years.

Actually, i would definately put Evernham ahead of them with Kahne, Sadler & Riggs (remember)....... No doubt! If Ganassi passes them, they fall to 7th ... Yikes!!!

Rook, Jr is signing with Joe Gibbs racing next year and DEI will sell off the two teams who have never won a Nextel race and fold. We talked about it all day yesterday in the Neck forum!

I just hope that once they get the operations business taken care of and Junior gets control that they can then go out and get some better drivers to compete.

Junior can't carry that whole company....and Truex Jr isn't cutting it.

I think Truex will be fine. Jr no doubt needs to take control of the company. Teresa isn't cut out to be an owner. Truex was a 2 time Busch series champion, so there's no doubt he can drive a car. They have just been slacking in equipment the past 2 years. Dale Jr. says they've made some improvements with the engine department, which was what he was always bitching about last year, over the offseason, but only time will tell.
