We were switching catchers ... I-Rod for C. Ruiz. Yes, i get the better catcher but anyone can look at Ruiz and see he is pretty good with points that are not far behind I-Rod.

To make up the catcher difference i was giving him ALOT (IMO). Jeff Suppan who has pitched well and has 27 points AND Ervin Santana from Anaheim who only has 5 points so far but you just know that will change. In return for those 2 pitchers i was getting Zach Duke, a guy that has ZERO points this year and quite honestly scares me because he has been shelled the last 2 or 3 outings.

I honestly thought Jimmy was getting a GREAT deal in that trade and with him being in last, i'm SHOCKED that was vetoed.

I will veto EVERY trade that come across from now on. With the exception of any of yours.

The rule change (ER, BB) this season has made a huge difference.

I think it at least keeps it's honest. Last year you were pretty much guaranteed positive points with every pitcher going, this year, you PAY the price if they don't do well.

I got lucky last night. I had 4 starters in League #2 and they were money (18,19,10 & 8 points).

It is hit & miss though. I've had 4 pitchers go before and ended with a negative combined with all 4!

The rule change (ER, BB) this season has made a huge difference.

I thought it was a fair trade especially with Jimmy being in last place and needing some SP's. There are some people that don't even look into the numbers and just hit the veto button..... ARod gave me 17 points last night, and I ended up getting a total of 19 points yesterday even with 4 SP's playing.

I'm sure with Jimmy being in last place, somehow they thought i was getting a good deal or something but i don't think so. I was giving up 58 points to get players with 39. You think people in the league would have liked seeing me give those pitchers up???
