dave, you betcha buddy ... it is the best site on the net ... and believe you me ... i have been on many ... I was a mod on 3 sites at 3 different times ... Once I found this site it was my home ... Thanks for all the nice words and things will be fine around here ..



Wayne, you and I talk quite often via PM ... sometimes we agree and sometimes we don't ... one thing we always have and that is respect for each other ... I/we appreciate everything you do around here ... I know if you could you would be here 24/7 ... that is how dedicated you are to the guys and this forum ... I have said it before and I will say it again ... this forum would NOT be what is is without 1218 ....

I can honestly say this site is a pleasure to be a part of and I wish I was able to be more active here. I observed for a while before I stareted posting and the "petty" stuff that goes on once in a while can't overpower what you "cornerstones" (best way to put it ELJUGO) bring to this place.

I am out of town at a baseball tournament in Amarillo. We are in the Southwest Regionals, which by the way we won our first game 10-0 last night. I can't stay but a minute but I just saw this post and it is a great one.

I was a lurker for many years and I joined up and try and contribute sometimes when I can.

This is the best site I have ever been on and its because of "you guys - Spark, Wayne, Monte, Kaptain, JC, KB, Rook, Longnex, LSUFAN, Bryce, etc" - and it is upsetting when the bickering takes over. I hope it stops because I can't wait for football when I will be on here as a regular again.

You guys are the best and I have made some friends that I chat with almost every day.

Keep it going the right way and I hope all the fighting stops.

If anyone needs to borrow my GOATS to make them feel better, I will loan them to you - BUT I want them back LOL

Great post Kaptain, and I hope you and I continue to be friends. And Spark and Wayne, thanks for what you do and thanks for the contests you have.

I found this place in March of 05, and much like Jimmy had the most difficult time figuring out Wayne. Dude is twisted , he spun me around like a yo yo and im sure he was having fun with it

I dont post plays much anymore, mainly look to BC for entertainment and info. I have met so many people that i either talk with daily on the net, via email, or actually on the phone. Hell i now vacation once a year with a couple of BCers in Vegas and its a blast.

Thanks to the Spark, Wayne, and Mr Monte. Great site, i am proud to be a small part of a great place.

this is the first site i goto when i go online...profile says i been here since 95 but i was a member under djlivejive before that so been here bout 5 yrs...i remember spark postin all those service plays...i used to fight in service section w. ty gaston what a piece of work he is....members used to get into it back in the day too but it didnt last we moved on... u have to look out for eachother that is what makes a successful forum...everyone here that bets wants to make money so provide some info or picks and wish others good luck the bad seeds will be exposed and the fam will remain strong and continue to grow....me and JC got into it quite a few times over ncaa football he had his opinion i had mine, fists mite been flyin if we were in same room cuz we are fans and passionate bout our teams but he is a cool guy i wouldnt really wish harm or get that angry its the damn internet and even tho i never met him prob get along great....thanks to everyone that makes this site best sports discussion on the web

Very good and interesting read Karl. I miss alot of those days too. There are many guys from back in the day that i really miss seeing on here. I signed up here in 2002. It seems like a long time ago and this place has changed SO MUCH in that time. I wish some of the guys who signed up in '08, '07 or '06 could see what it was like back in the day here. There were many good times and bad just like today, but it was very different. When it was bad, it was 1000 times worse than it is today. Joe can attest to that. Guys used to come here and spam or go nuts on people and all we could do was email Monte and ask for help. We couldn't stop them, just slow them down. It was really crazy and it happened often.

Joe, I didn'y know you or anything about you back in the day but i learned quickly from watching those service threads that you were a very fair, loyal and dedicated guy. You have never swayed from that and i have truly learned alot from you, your ways, and your experiences. That is the truth and it means alot to me. Monte is usually here in the middle of the night so i don't really get to talk to him much hahaha ... but he owns and runs a great site that has growm more than most would believe in the last 6 years of my time here.
