I laughed my ass off, and you know PAPI, it made me sad....why, because I was reminiscing the good old days.....

I have never seen so much arguing on this forum as recently .. I just stay out of it and do my job … if someone gets carried away I let them know it … other than that … they can knock themselves out … it is only a sports forum Kapt … some place I go to enjoy myself and bullshit with the guys … does not influence my life what-so-ever … I am here to enjoy myself and the guys on here … when I stop feeling that way I will just move on or give the game up all together …

Ahh PAPI.....it was so much fun then.....what has happened to us....the bickering, the insults, name calling, egotists coming out in full bloom, one never admitting they're wrong.......cussing one another, telling one another to GFYM, and so on.....

Yes it was fun back then but it still is if you allow it to be …. We deal with all kinds of personalities karl … I know and I am the first to admit I have a huge tolerance for people and their personalities … maybe it is because what I do for a living … but I am a firm believer in there is good in everyone if you look for it … we are not all perfect … like I have told many on here …. We can discuss and debate ,.,, but once you disrespect the conversation is over …

I even loved that debate (argument) wayne and I had.....damn good one....but we worked it out and moved on...

One thing about Wayne … he is beating you up today and reaching his hand out to you tomorrow … he showed me that the first time with Meg … I just wish every knew Wayne like I do … he really cares an awful lot about the guys here … I am telling you right now … he cares more about this forum than me or anyone else here … I know I would never take the time to run 15 or more contests a year …

you know Kapt I was going to name a few and you hit everyone I had on the list ... including RJ .. I had many words with RJ but in the end, I always thought he was a good guy ..

I truly miss Dimer posting here everyday ... hopefully with his new job he will be able to ...

Bover ... damn, i remember a few times at night I was so tired but I did not want to turn the puter off because bover was on and we were having a blast ... I still laugh at some of his posts ...

To me, that is BC ... not if I went 5-0 tonight ... as long as I laughed today while being here ... to me, that is a good day ...

Very good and interesting read Karl. I miss alot of those days too. There are many guys from back in the day that i really miss seeing on here. I signed up here in 2002. It seems like a long time ago and this place has changed SO MUCH in that time. I wish some of the guys who signed up in '08, '07 or '06 could see what it was like back in the day here. There were many good times and bad just like today, but it was very different. When it was bad, it was 1000 times worse than it is today. Joe can attest to that. Guys used to come here and spam or go nuts on people and all we could do was email Monte and ask for help. We couldn't stop them, just slow them down. It was really crazy and it happened often.

Joe, I didn'y know you or anything about you back in the day but i learned quickly from watching those service threads that you were a very fair, loyal and dedicated guy. You have never swayed from that and i have truly learned alot from you, your ways, and your experiences. That is the truth and it means alot to me. Monte is usually here in the middle of the night so i don't really get to talk to him much hahaha ... but he owns and runs a great site that has growm more than most would believe in the last 6 years of my time here.

I am out of town at a baseball tournament in Amarillo. We are in the Southwest Regionals, which by the way we won our first game 10-0 last night. I can't stay but a minute but I just saw this post and it is a great one.

I was a lurker for many years and I joined up and try and contribute sometimes when I can.

This is the best site I have ever been on and its because of "you guys - Spark, Wayne, Monte, Kaptain, JC, KB, Rook, Longnex, LSUFAN, Bryce, etc" - and it is upsetting when the bickering takes over. I hope it stops because I can't wait for football when I will be on here as a regular again.

You guys are the best and I have made some friends that I chat with almost every day.

Keep it going the right way and I hope all the fighting stops.

If anyone needs to borrow my GOATS to make them feel better, I will loan them to you - BUT I want them back LOL

Great post Kaptain, and I hope you and I continue to be friends. And Spark and Wayne, thanks for what you do and thanks for the contests you have.

I joined here in 2004. This is when I first became disabled and I stayed home all day. I needed to find a place on the internet to chat, cut-up, and have a good time. Man, did I find the right place here.

I can remember Wayne having a ball with me with those stupid smilies. I would always think he was mad at me, and I would always contact Joe and ask "is Wayne mad a me?" The whole time Wayne was laughing his ass off.

Then there were the "Blind Mice." What a group ... RJ, Dimer, Doc, and Homer. Then Chuckie Cheese, Spaarkie, and Marty. What a funny group of guys!!!

And then there was Hurricane Katrina. Wow, what a family I have here. I received so many calls from you guys for all over this country. All wanting to help with ANYTHING I needed. That's what this site is all about, and I will never forget that.

I started staying away from time to time when the BS gets ***** around here. I normally don't get involved, but sometimes I do put in my 2 cents. Now, I just stay away from most of those "drama" posts.

Basically, I just hang out in the non gambling, pools, and photo sections. Lots of fun in there.

And that's what this site is all about ... friends and fun!!!
