I agree and as long as the rant section is open, guys like vitterd and efaw will continue to do what they do.
Take out the rant section and yes, the site might lose some "hits" but I think in the long run, especially with football approaching, more people will come back and offer insight to what this site is for - Bettors Chat.

We always have had some on here who are very passionate about their religious or political beliefs. And we have always had some who have issues with each other - i.e. Wayne and Kaz don't get along - but is has gotten MUCH worse lately.
Guys like Vitterd and Efaw love this shit because in their "real" life away from the computer, no one will argue with them. They can come on here and show their " supposed superiorty" and "supposed knowledge" and get MANY riled up. And it works !!!

Again, I know. "If you don't like the section, don't read it or go in there" but again, human nature makes you do it and then the shit starts.

Its just upsetting to see how bad it has gotten lately and it has gotten bad.
Just my opinion which I probably should just mind my own business anyway.

Dave. To single out Vit and Efaw as the ones who rile things up around here is just not true. There is plenty of blame to go around. Including me, including mods, including far more Righties, including racist posts and mud slinging from both sides. Sorry, but you can't possibly think those two are even remotely the only ones responsible for the Rant section getting out of hand....Many times it's 10 against one around here, which when cornered a dog will attack, and more often than not the sharks smell blood in the water....JMHO

I agree Dave, one aftertoon this past week I logged on and there were 4 different rant threads on the front page, Theturd was the most recent post on each. He plays these rant threads like bingo cards....

Its gotta stop. Again, just my opinion, but one way to stop it is to close the Rant section.
I've only been here a few years but it has NEVER been this nasty.
I know people say if you don't like the Rant section, don't look at it or read it. But it is human nature to do so. Then, buttons get pushed and the name calling starts and then it gets out of control - just like it is now.

I promise this is the last time I say anything on this subject but I truly think that TOO many hard feelings have developed because of the Rant section.
And I probably pissed off some people just by writing this post, which just goes to prove my point.
