I have arrived in minn I have been told I will not be the emergency started for the vikings tonight. I am still tired out after running back a 71yrd kickoff return in the patriots game last night.....Did you catch my act last night. I am a fast runner. Quick like a cat.

1. You need a passport, (the law went into effect last June I believe) I don't have one yet, you have to cross the border into Canada to get back to the place in the MN where we fish from. You have a passport?

Ok, it's not as bad as it sounds, the resorts up there put out houses (basically an insulated shed like some people have in their back yards) out on the ice and depending on the size of house they will have 6 to 12 holes in the floor. They have heaters in them and they give you a ride to the house in a bombadiere.


They take you out at around 7 in the morning can't drink til you get to your fish house, so first beer is around 730 then they bring you lunch around noon and pick you up around 4pm. Head back to the lodge, they clean your fish, cook it for you and provide side dishes. Eat, have a couple more cocktails, argue over who caught the most, the largest, and who got shut out (normally me).
