i agree about his talent. IMO he is gone regardless. Sox have tried for over a year now to get a new contract signed. Best they can do is get something for him now. He wants a 6yr deal.....he ain't gettin that from Boston.

The 4 year/70 million they offered him is a joke. They need to fuckin pony up some cash and pay for a guy like that. He makes 30+ starts every year and he can handle the spotlight in Boston. Many others have shown they cannot. Plus he is a home grown kid. It sickens me to watch him leave and the Red Sox DISGUST ME!!!!!!!

Ever since the Crawford deal, they have refused to pay anyone beyond 3 years and if you want the best players, that theory will never work. They have a boatload of money and John Henry is sticking it all up his own ass and refusing to pay guys like Lester? Fuck you Henry!!!!!!
