Damn sun is out by my house and I'm about 3 miles from Treasure Chest and Lake Ponchartrain !!
I guess its the calm before the storm !!

Just saw the lake on TV and its surges are way up on the road now.

Winds blowing about 30-40 miles and sun is shining !! LOL

Bet in a few hours the sun won't be out !!

I'm bored so I'm going driving by the lake while the weather is still ok to drive in. They say in about 5-6 hours we will have anywhere from 10-15" of rain !! And this bitch is barely a hurricane !!! I can't imagine what is was during Katrina - a Cat 5. I'm glad I left for that one.
I'll let you know how bad it is in a little while Jimmy. I'm going out now to see and check on my goats !!

Dave, sun is out and bright here too. Wind about 15-20 at times. Rain on and off. Just weird. Please stay save by the Lake!
