I've had one ...about 6 years ago in Myrtle Beach, SC.

I have had 3(all in the last 8 years) but what your son did is amazing.And on a 200 yard par 3 he probably did it with a 3 or 4 iron which makes it even more amazing that he did it twice on that long of a whole Tell him congrats and I hope he kept the balls.

That's freaking amazing! I'd love to get an ace one of these days. Got pretty close one time, probably the closest I'll ever get, out at Cimmaron National up at Cedar Valley east. I think it's hole #6 or #7, short little easy par 3, I knocked it about 6 inches within the cup a few years ago.

morning everyone. I have a true golf story. I took off Thursday afternoon to play golf since I knew this weekend would be too cold. I played with two of my sons. My oldest son got his second ace in 6 months on the same 200-yard par 3. The first one was in a tournament last July 4. The hole is the number 1 handicap hole on the course...not just because of the length but because the green is nasty. Of course, if you don't have to putt the green is not that tough. His response was, 'this hole is easy.'. What are the odds? I figure I could be playing with his grandchildren and him in about 2040 and he wouldn't get another one between now and then, but he had two in six months on the hole.
